Dust Control Solutions
Dust suppression solutions for mining and civil industries
Airborne dust is a common problem in bulk materials handling operations. Dust is the fine materials that have become airborne; this creates numerous problems in processing, the plant, employee and community health, regulatory compliance, and the image of a plant. If an operation cannot prevent dust from becoming airborne, then it must control it. Dust can be controlled by containing, suppressing, or collecting the airborne particles. When both material spillage and airborne dust are controlled, the operation will be cleaner, safer, and more productive.
Dust Suppression Spray Systems
ESS offers a range of spray and dust suppression systems, which can also be used in conjunction ESS Skirting Systems and Belt Cleaning Solutions to create a tailored solution to customers dust suppression needs.
ESS 25 NB Spray Bar
The ESS 25NB Spray bar is designed to remove sticky adhering material from the Conveyor Belt surface by use of a high velocity, low volume, knife edge spray. The ESS 25NB Spray bar if often used at transfer points which has the added benefits of keeping both the Primary and Secondary cleaners free of material build-up as well as assisting in dust suppression.
ESS 40 NB Spray Bar
The ESS 40NB Spray bar is designed to remove sticky adhering material from the Conveyor Belt surface by use of a high velocity, low volume, knife edge spray. The ESS 40NB Spray bar if often used at transfer points which has the added benefits of keeping both the Primary and Secondary cleaners free of material build-up as well as assisting in dust suppression.
Quickfit Nozzle
ESS Quick-Fit Nozzles create a water spray pattern which contains both high velocity medium size water droplets and low velocity very small droplets. The high velocity medium size water particles overcome the displaced air velocity. The small low velocity water particles bond with the dust particles, causing them to agglomerate and drop in the main material flow.
Atomising Quickfit Nozzle
The ESS Air Atomising Spray System is a water-based misting system that utilises compressed gas (usually air) to break up water into very fine atomised water droplets under 100 microns in diameter to bind with dust particles to form larger agglomerations that will drop out of suspension in the air. The system is specifically designed for application on conveyor transfer enclosures, but may also be applied at other points of dust generation such as crushers, storage silos and the like.
