Conveyor Chute Inspection Doors

Our low profile access door range includes four standard sizes and the ability to make non-standard sizes to suit many applications.

In any plant, there are enclosed spaces that require a safe means of access to inspect, service or take samples during the application. Others require an access that reduces the risk associated with confined space and manual handling.

Our conveyor inspection door range offers both standard and non-standard sizes, catering to a wide range of applications. The openings in the inner security screen comply with the requirements of the standards when installed so that the machine or conveyor hazard is at least 200mm from the access door.

Features and Benefits

Simple Installation

The Low Profile inspection doors can be bolted (or welded if that is preferred) in place via the holes provided in the frame. The doors may also be installed over a smaller existing opening.

Corrosion Resistant

The Low Profile access doors frames and screens are constructed from 304-grade stainless steel. The hinges are cast 304-grade stainless steel, and the latch is a zincbased alloy. All fasteners are 304-grade stainless steel.

Space Saving

The low height design of the Low Profile access doors reduces the risk of damage from impacts or collisions and the risk of injury to personnel from snagging or bumping.

Lightweight

The Low Profile inspection doors are light to handle but strong enough to resist material impacts and ensure personnel safety. Operators can inspect operating conveyors or machinery safely and in compliance with standards requirements.

Standard Compliant

The Low Profile access doors comply with the requirements of the standards. The inner screen requires a hex key for removal. The external door latch can be fitted with a padlock or fastener for added security, or where complete sealing needs to be ensured during operation.

  • How does it work?

When installed correctly, our conveyor inspection doors protect personnel from contact with moving conveyors or machinery, allowing exceptional inspection access. The maximum 60x25 mm

slots in the inner screen allow installation to 200mm from the pinch point or hazard in compliance with the standards.

The rubber sealing strip combined with excellent hinges and latches on the external door ensure an effective seal against dust and airborne materials.
