In addition, if the material becomes entrapped in pinch points, it can damage conveyor components such as idlers, bearings, and the belt itself.
The ESS Drop-In GAS Sealing Support System is the simple, cost-effective way to achieve good belt support and good belt sealing. The Drop-In Unit is designed for Low Impact transfer points, and also to compliment ESS GAB Impact Cradles under High Impact transfer points.

How does it work
The ESS Drop-In GAS Sealing Support System Bars are installed as side rails underneath the conveyor belt. They help maintain a stable and sag-free belt, even when it's under heavy loading. The GAS Sealing Support System should be placed between idlers underneath the loading point and as far down the conveyor line as needed to stabilize the belt. For loading zones that experience high material impact, the ESS Drop-In GAS Sealing Support System should be installed downstream from an energy-absorbing ESS GAB Impact Cradle. This provides maximum belt stability. For heavy-duty applications that do not require an ESS GAB Impact Cradle, carrying idlers in the centre of the structure can be incorporated.
