ESS Guardabelt Impact
Cradles are used in transfer points where impact loading of large lumpy material is experienced The frequent impacts damage the belt, idlers or conveyor support structure and create high levels spillage.
To absorb the punishing stress of loading, install a GuardaBelt Impact Cradle under the belt. Composed of energy absorbing GuardaBelt Bars and a heavy duty adjustable frame, this impact cradle will absorb and dampen the shock of loading, reducing damage and improving belt stability and sealing.
Trac-Mount Cradles
To facilitate hazard free maintenance, ESS GuardaBelt Impact Cradles feature our exclusive Trac-Mount design. Individual bars are mounted on slides, as are the wing assemblies. No tee-bolts to be removed, Bars can be inspected and/or changed in minutes by simply sliding out the old bar and sliding in the new one.
This feature, coupled with ESS policy of designing each cradle to suit its application, means that site installation time is also dramatically reduced.
